About this game

Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles. Just be careful that you don't create too many expensive men or the territory will go bankrupt!

"This game is pure strategy! It's a work of genius. Brilliant AI. Engaging turn-based multiplayer strategy. Sid Meier, eat your heart out!" - GameSpy.com

"I love this game! I play it all the time, and when I'm not, I think about wanting to play it." - PocketNow.com

"At first glance, Slay looks elementary, but hidden beneath are cunning strategy elements that must be finely balanced for success" - PC Magazine

"Deceptively delightful. The graphics are simple, but the strategy is complex." - Download.com

It's a really good concept and fun app (5/5) However, a number of issues really drag it down. If you rotate the screen, the app crashes. If you lock your device and unlock it, the app loses where you were. Additionally, if you happen to be holding a newly purchased piece while this happens, you lose the piece and the money. I don't think I would have purchased the game had I known of these issues

Addictive Turn Based Strategy Game I first started playing this game many years, and phones, ago. Over the years it's been expanded and enhanced. The goal is to dominate a given map. The maps are rated from easy to very difficult. As you play them, you'll develop your own strategy and eventually win around 98% of them. What i like: NO ADS, play at your own pace, simple user interface. Easy to learn, years to master, all for just a couple bucks!

Okay for new players, but the latest update is a downgrade for Android users. Used to be 5 stars (see in quotes below). Now it's too slow to play and the graphics are washed out, making it hard to see what is going on. "I've played through this dozens of times on multiple platforms over the past fifteen years or so. Each time I get a new device, I download this game. First time I played was on a Palmpilot! It's still just as great (I've even seen quite a few look a like apps out there.)"
